FAQ

  • What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy uses therapeutic and physical methods to restore physical function, improve mobility, and increase strength.

  • Can physiotherapy be provided in the home, or is a clinic/hospital a better option?

Physiotherapy can be provided at home, heightening the level of comfort, hygiene, safety and sense of familiarity for your loved one. While rehabilitation facilities may be better equipped with therapeutic tools and machines, there are many treatments that do not require such specialised equipment, and can be done anywhere. In-home physiotherapy ensures the patient will get one-on-one attention and close supervision. It also enables your loved one to learn skills in the same place where they will use them.

  • How much does in-home physiotherapy cost?

The cost of physiotherapy will depend on the rank of care professional. Services are charged at an hourly rate and can include additional charges for night shifts. If you would like a personal quotation, please contact us for more pricing information.

  • How does Evercare find the right physiotherapist for me and my family?

At Evercare, you can be sure that every member of your team – whether nurse, physiotherapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist or wound care specialist – is highly trained, trustworthy and professional. Every member of your team has been interviewed and screened. They offer a level of skill that comes only with experience, and compassion that comes with true caring.

  • How can I be sure the person coming into my home is trustworthy?

Simple. Our clients are special to us; we demand our cargivers are special too. All Evercare professionals are personally vetted and tested. We have a lot of contact with each cargiver to ensure they are not only qualified, but they are personable and trustworthy enough to care for our clients. For extra confidence, we give you the opportunity to view caregiver profiles before the start of your service. In-person interviews are also available upon request.

With a track record of trusted service and over 100,000 hours of nursing care, we are confident that all our care professionals coming into your house are trustworthy.

  • Do I get the same physiotherapist every time?

You can request to have the same physiotherapist every time.

  • What if I want to change my care professional?

Give us a call at 3905 4000 or WhatsApp your Evercare Care Manager. We can discuss what aspects of the care you want changed so we can provide you with a more appropriate match.

  • Do I need a doctor's referral letter?

A doctor's referral letter is not required. Clients using physiotherapy services for the first time are only required to undergo an intial assessment with Evercare.
