Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly (CCSV)

Learn more about the government-subsidised care scheme that helps you save up to 95% of home care costs.

What is CCSV?

CCSV (Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly) is a major government subsidy scheme. As a “Recognised Service Provider”, Evercare partners with the Social Welfare Department to offer home-based services.

HOW

Clients can choose a service package priced between HK$4,182 - $10,455. Their vouchers allow for six categories of co-payment: 5%, 8%, 12%, 16%, 25%, 40%.

WHEN

Clients will be eligible to join as long as they are queuing in the Central Waiting List for subsidised long term services, have not used residential services or community care services, and are assessed to have moderate or severe physical impairment.

WHO

Designed for people with more complex care needs.

Why

We want to help our loved ones age safely, in the comfort of their home, surrounded by family and neighbours they care about, in the communities they love.

What Services are Included

Under the CCSV scheme, voucher holders can receive care in a day-care centre or in the comfort of their home. Evercare specialises in home-based services, making home care affordable and accessible to everyone.

FAQ

  • Is there an expiry date for the CCSV voucher?

If the Voucher Certificate holder has not used the Voucher Certificate for purchasing community care service for the elderly from any recognised service providers within 3 months after the issue date, the Voucher Certificate being held would become void.

  • My dad is currently using day care services at a community care centre, but he now wants to move to receive care at home. What happens now?

Each month, CCSV voucher holders are allowed to renew their services. This means you can book services from the same or a different service provider, as well as adjust your service hours and the specific services you need. All you need is your “Community Care Service Voucher Certificate”  and HKID.

  • How to apply?

The Social Welfare Department will send invitation letters directly to eligible elderly persons on the Central Waiting List to invite them to join the Third Phase of the Pilot Scheme. To understand the whole application process, check out the following steps:

    1. Request a Standardised Care Need Assessment at a Neighbourhood Elderly Centre (conducted by a social worker)
    2. Eligible people will receive an invitation letter from the Social Welfare Department
    3. Fill out the relevant paperwork
    4. Receive voucher certificate
